Entry & Departure From Canada
Clients with Prior DUI – If they have had a prior DUI – even if they have come to Canada before – they will need to speak to Pardon Services Enterprises in Winnipeg prior to coming into Canada.
Virtual Wildlife Identification Numbers (WiN)
Alberta ReLM has phased out the paper WIN forms, and has introduced virtual WiN cards. For new WiN holders, the virtual WiN can be purchased with a one-time activation fee of $8 plus GST. The virtual WiN never expires or requires renewal. Existing WiN holder are required to pay the $8 activation fee when their WiN expires. Afterwards, the card never expires and no additional renewals will be required. You can access your virtual WiN card at any time through the Alberta ReLM app.
A common problem that members encounter is WiNs that are not fully activated. Please ensure you create and pay for the WiN before your hunt otherwise, we will not be able to purchase licences on your behalf. APOS has asked AEP to make changes to the system to ensure it is clear to clients that payment is required for the WiN to be active.
